It was Dunbarton’s day at Old Bleach BC as they took the Open Singles, Pairs and Centenary trophy.
In the morning Conor McCarten put on a leading display to give DJ Wilson a great platform and ease past the Mossley pair 22-12.
DJ then took the Blue Riband Singles with a 21-14 victory over S Bennett. These two wins plus points from their beaten semi finalists earlier in the week was enough to give Dunbarton the inaugural top club Centenary trophy.
Adam McKeown continued his and Mossley’s great season as he continued his run in the Youth Singles with a 21-10 win over W Orr.
Ryan Cavan took the Junior Singles title for Belmont with a fine 21-11 victory over home player S Kirkwood.
The home crowd and Centenary President Michael Nutt had Triples joy with S Barkley & R Kirkwood as they defeated A Kyle (Larne) in a close encounter.
Andi Duncan’ rink proved to be too strong on the day as the took the all Ballymena contest with a 19-12 win over S Coleman.
The best finish was reserved for the Senior Rinks where M Morgan’s Falls rink saw a 9 shot advantage vanish over the last 3 ends but just held on to defeat Willowfield (J Moore) by 17 shots to 16.
