PRO snippet – Juniors have it all to play for

Thankfully the weather conditions improved today and allowed the four Junior Inter Association games to be completed.

The Private Greens recorded two wins at Old Bleach against the BLI ( 6 points. +34 shots) and the NIBA ( 7 points. +34 shots). While the morning game was a solid performance the afternoon contest with the Parks was fantastic with many players giving themselves a chance of selection to the Irish team.

(Full rink scores are available on the IBA live score site.)

Meanwhile at Ballymena the NIPBA were also recording wins over NIBA ( 5 points. +7 shots) and BLI ( 5.5 points. +5 shots).

This means that the game between the PGL and NIPBA ( stopped  after 7 ends last night due to weather conditions) will now become a title decider.

The PGL will take a 13 – 10.5 point advantage into the resumed game. They also will start 8 shots up in the 14 end shoot out on a date yet to be confirmed.

It should be a great game so keep an eye out for the date and come along to Old Bleach and give our youngsters your support.
