The Quarter Finals stage of the first two disciplines in the PGL Championships sponsored by Crawfords Accident Repairs have been reached.
Monday evening proved to be a dark one for Belmont as all four of their players crashed out . Holder DJ Wilson is still going and will play A McLean (Larne) on his home green in the first semi final.
In the second game D Copeland will also have home advantage against S Coleman (Ballymena).
At the time of writing dark clouds are building and there must be a doubt over some of the Pairs QF games scheduled for this evening. Hopefully the storms will miss us and the four eagerly awaited fixtures will be completed.
The evergreen Jim Baker joins Nigel Robinson (Ballymena) as they host Salisbury pair Gary Eaton Jn and Terry Crawford, just back from his Senior Inter Association success.
Old Bleach is the venue for M Tait / N Mulholland against D Copeland / A Paul in another game which is too close to call.
Previous winners M Nutt / S Kirkwood (Old Bleach) will have a tight match at Ewarts against J McGee and another former champion in A Truick.
The final QF sees J McGettrick / McCall (Falls) host Ballywalter duo A Davidson and D Palmer.
