A Management Committee meeting was held on Tuesday 24th September. Delegates heard reports from the NIPGBL Treasurer and an update on IBA matters. Details were given of Notices of Motion which will be proposed at the AGM and some discussion took place on these.

The annual Minnis Trophy match between the NIPGBL and Kenilworth Bowling Club was held at Larne yesterday afternoon. In ideal conditions the NIPGBL regained the trophy after a closely contested game. Among the members of the winning side was NIPGBL Honorary Member Hugh Montgomery who was celebrating his 91st birthday on the day.

Congratulations to Belmont A, Belmont B and Dunbarton B on winning the IBA Senior, Intermediate and Junior Cups respectively. This is the first time since the inception of the Intermediate Cup that NIPGBL clubs have won all three in the same season.
