Among the matters discussed at the latest meeting were: the arrangements for the NIPGBL dinner on Friday 18th, potential Notices of Motion for the NIPGBL AGM on Saturday 30th November, the venues for future inter-association series, sanctions for teams who forfeited league matches last August, participation levels for starred players and lady players during the 2019 season. Committee heard that the current League Secretary, Mr Terry McIlroy, due to personal circumstances no longer feels able to continue to fulfil the duties attached to his role in the same manner as he has previously done. Committee members acknowledged the diligence, efficiency and attention to detail which have characterised Terry’s period in office.
