High Performance Coach Neil Booth delivered a detailed and informative presentation on the plans for the Bowls Ireland Regional Academies. Committee agreed to make a financial contribution towards the initial set-up cost of this ambitious project which aims to secure the future development of Irish bowls.

After 26 years of dedicated service in office, Davy Irvine indicated that he wished to step down as Competitions Secretary with immediate effect. Committee appointed Mark Tait to assume this role in an interim capacity, with a view to seeking the approval of the forthcoming EGM for his appointment on a permanent basis.

Committee agreed to reduce significantly the honorarium payments currently made to NIPGBL Office Bearers.

An EGM, the next Management Committee meeting and the next GP Committee meeting will be held on Thursday 28th March. Further details will be communicated to clubs.
