Micro Business Hardship Fund
FURTHER UPDATE ON THE NI MICRO BUSINESS HARDSHIP FUND.
***APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN AS OF NOW AND CLOSE ON 12th JUNE 2020***
To all PGL clubs, having gone through the eligibility checker it appears that there is a possibility that some of our clubs may (AND I STRESS MAY) be able to avail of this grant programme. As posted yesterday there is an eiligibility checker.
1. The main focus seems to be on small businesses that have up to 9 employees paid through the PAYE system with information submitted to HMRC via RTI (Real Time Information).
2. You have experienced a reduction in turnover in excess of 40% since the 1st March.
3. Exclusions do apply if any of our clubs are registered as charities and/or social enterprises that receive less than 60% of revenue from trade in goods and/or services.
If you were lucky enough to apply and avail of the Sport Hardship fund this grant may still be applied for and the amount received from the Sport Hardship fund would be deducted. I am led to believe that the maximum grant amount available is between £5000 and £10,000
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM ONLY PASSING ON ADVICE, I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY CLUB WOULD BE SUCCESSFUL IF SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION.
