The GP committee was made aware late on Saturday evening (7^th August) that a player at Pickie BC had tested positive for Covid.  Pickie brought the matter to our attention immediately and initiated a deep clean of the club as of today 8^th August.  All players were made aware of the situation early today and taking in to account all feedback, the duty of care requirements to keep all participants and spectators safe, and the recent precedents of moving cup ties to alternative venues, the GP Committee has regrettably had to take the decision to move the host venue for all of this week’s competitions from Pickie BC to Larne BC.  The programme remains virtually the same with a few rink number tweaks and a further rescheduling of the Under 18s singles.  We offer our apologies and our thanks to Pickie BC for their understanding and thank Larne BC for stepping in at short notice.
