Belmont B.C. will be holding their annual City of Belfast Tournament from Sunday 13th July to Sunday 20th July.
As is custom with this tournament, there will be Singles & Pairs competitions along with Plate events in both categories.

It is with great sadness that we must advise you that NIPGBL Past President, Dessie Newell passed away on Friday 16th May. To Dessie's family and his friends, we offer our deepest sympathy at this time of loss.
Dessie served as NIPGBL President in 2001 & was also NIPGBL Triples Championship Winner in 1980.
Dessie's funeral Service will be held in Kilhorne Parish Church, Annalong on Wednesday 21st May at 2.00pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
NIPGBL bowlers Jayden Kyle (Larne) & Jack Kidd (Dunbarton) won the first ever Irish Bowling Association Under 25 Pairs, at Belmont B.C on Sunday 11th May.
In their semi final they defeated James O'Neill (Salisbury) & Shea Trainor (Dunbarton), before defeating Dylan Murphy (Blackrock) & Colm O'Brien (CYM) in the final.
Jayden & Jack will now represent Ireland at the British Isles Championships in June.

It is with great sadness that we must advise you that NIPGBL Honorary member North McQuay passed away earlier this week. To North’s family, and his friends, we offer our deepest sympathy at this time of loss.
North had an illustrious career in Bowls, both as a player and as an administrator.
As a player, North won multiple NIPGBL & IBA titles, individually and with his club side, Knock, while also representing Ireland at full international level, both outdoor and indoor.
North served the NIPGBL & IBA with distinction, was the IBA Honorary Assistant Secretary from 1985-1991 and Honorary Secretary from 1992-2000. He was also an international selector for many years. Honorary membership to the NIPGBL was conferred in 2003.
North's funeral service will take place in Browns Funeral Parlour, Newtownards Road on Wednesday week, 16th October, at 2pm. A cremation will follow at Roselawn Crematorium at 3.20 pm.
On Saturday 3rd August the Finals of the NIPGBL Championships were concluded at Salisbury B.C.
Congratulations to all the winners who now go onto represent the NIPGBL at the Irish Finals on the weekend of Friday 30th & Saturday 31st August at Ward Park, Bangor.

On Friday 22nd March, a S.G.M. was held to discuss a proposal regarding Rule 4 of the League Championships and the Registration of Panel of Players.
Club delegates voted by majority to accept the proposal which will see the number of registered players required reduced to 8.
